Like many boys, Tim's childhood dream was to be superman, but that quickly changed when he realized it wasn't an attainable goal. Little did he know, he'd eventually become one of Parthenon's supermen of design.
At the heart of it all, Tim is driven by curiosity. He's always been open to learning as much he can about design. Having majored in Mass Communication in college, Tim’s goal was to go into video production, possibly with an emphasis in 3D animation. Luckily for us, the web took off and he reconsidered his options. Today, Tim is numbered among Parthenon's front end developers, focusing on JavaScript, design and user experience. Contributing the right amount of wit, humor and opinion, Tim has proven to be a valuable addition to the Parthenon team.
And he's not exactly lax in his free time either. Like many of us Tim would love to win the lottery and buy an island home where he could get away from it all. Until that happens, he’s happy volunteering with his wife as a foster family for Pacific Pug Rescue. And when he’s not busy taking care of the dogs, he’s an avid collector vintage motor scooters and vinyl records. If that wasn't enough, he’s also an ordained minister.
As for his advice to beginning developers, His suggestion is to "just keep doing new things. The real skill is not knowing a particular language or technology. It's knowing how to solve problems." And for someone who has "been opinionated about design forever," it's a very good thing.
